I like amphetamine. Somehow, more often than not, I start spinning out worktrees and AI tasks right before I have to go. Unlike the happy home office folks, my work life happens 90% at co-working spaces. So, as my teenage sister would say, I crash out if I have to pack home with 5 fresh threads spun off. Or, even worse, if I stay a minute longer at the place I wanted to leave 1-2 hours ago. Amphetamine to the rescue! I usually put it on for an hour or whatever time it will take me to get home and reconnect my network to the iPhone hotspot.

At home, the tasks continue rolling on WiFi or are done on the way. This is an ephemeral issue while we are moving to remote agents and cloud setups, but the notebook will still be the home for many tasks for at least some more months to come.

(Apparently, my computer likes amphetamine, too, given how hot it gets after half an hour in the backpack through the Barcelona summer day - just a word of caution here.)

Bought the 5x subscription, I finally have some tokens and good brain power. Setting everything up doubly now (need to transfer Claude skills, MCPs etc.), but I think it's worth it to be not dependent on one provider. Also, after some research I realized the harness' toolsets (skills, agents, commands, etc) are even less standardized than I thought.
